Set in the heart of the Forest, this pub has always had a large place in our hearts even before we took over the business.  Living in the area, The Rising Sun was within walking distance and soon became our local.  With a friendly atmosphere, we were welcomed into the regular community of the pub and it became our social circle as well as a large part of our lives.  In 2014 we had the opportunity to take over this magnificent pub.  We welcomed this new chapter in our lives with open arms.  ​The dining room is the heart of the pub and  we are passionate about the dishes we create.  Our chefs spends time sourcing good produce from local suppliers, as well as seasonally changing the menu.  The Chefs Specials are updated weekly with some favourites and some new dishes catering to everybody's tastes and needs.   As we say, if we have the ingredients, we will cook it!​Your experience with us is at the heart of what we do, so if you have any feedback we would love to hear it as we want to make The Rising Sun, Moseley Green the best it can be.
